The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released its timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 general elections.
The party has also pegged the expression of interest and nomination forms for presidential at N100 million.
While the party pegged the expression of interest and nomination forms for governorship at N50 million, that of Senate is N20 million, House of Representatives N10 million and the House of Assembly N6 million.
In the case of Presidential, expression of interest is N30 million, while the nomination is N70 million, making the total N100 million.
Expression of interest for the governorship is N10 million and the nomination is N40 million, total N50 million. In the case of Senate, the expression of interest is N3 million and the nomination is N17 million, total, N20 million.
The expression of interest for the House of Representatives is N1 million and the nomination is N9 million, total, N10 million and the House of Assembly, expression of interest is N1 million and the nomination is N5 million, total, N6 million.
While Primary election for presidential is 15-16th of May, that of the governorship is 23rd of May, 2026.
The timetable and schedule of activities are contained in statement signed by the Party’s National Organising Secretary, His Excellency Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu.
The timetable, according to the statement, outlines, among other activities, timelines for screening, appeals, and primary elections, as well as directives on the sale of nomination and expression of interest forms.
The APC has, however, reassured members, stakeholders, and Nigerians of its commitment to conducting a credible and transparent primary election that will further strengthen the Party’s internal democracy and consolidate its progressive ideals.
