NDC appoints six National Vice Chairmen to represent all geopolitical zones

The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has appointed six National Vice Chairmen to ensure representation across the country’s six geopolitical zones.

The appointments, announced on Tuesday, were signed by National Chairman Senator Cleopas Moses Zuwoghe and National Secretary Barr. Ikenna Morgan Enekweizu, and officially released to journalists in Abuja.

According to the party, the move aims to “ensure balanced representation across the North-West, North-East, North-Central, South-South, South-East, and South-West zones — reflecting the NDC’s commitment to national reach and inclusive leadership.”

“These appointments are a key part of the party’s efforts to consolidate its national structure ahead of upcoming Congresses and the National Convention,” the statement added.

The appointed National Vice Chairmen are:

North West: Mohammed Bakin Zuwo

North East: Dr. Danlami Arabs

North Central: Chief (Engr.) Barnabas Ejisi

South West: Pastor Dr. (Mrs.) Adedayo Ekong

South East: Chief Teddy Obey

South-South: Barr. Frederick Owotorufa
