Rivers Administrator , H.E Vice Admiral, Ibok Ete Ekwe (Rtd) on Saturday visited Emohua and Ikwerre LGAs , as part of his ongoing tour of selected LGAs across the State .
The visit was to ascertain the level of damage done to the facilities at the local government council secretariats during the forceful and illegal takeover of the councils on the orders of suspended Gov Fubara, immediately after the illegal LGA election in the state, which was later dismissed by the Supreme Court.
The administrator during his visit to the two LGAs also stopped by at the vandalized Emohua and Isiokpo General Hospitals, for an on the spot assessment of the condition of the health facilities.
Vice Admiral, Ibok Ete Ekwe (Rtd) gave hint of his administration’s plans to fix the damaged facilities at the local government councils , as well as the possibility of reactivating the Emohua and Isiokpo general hospitals , and other moribund general hospitals across the state.
